There are several ways to be a part of World Day of Prayer:

The heart of every World Day of Prayer celebration is the 24-hour prayer vigil, going on right now, in the Silent Unity Chapel. There, Unity employees, students and guests are gathered to hold in prayer the thousands of names received. To share the names of those you would like us to bless, fill out and submit the online prayer list.

Unity also invites you to be part of this annual tradition by attending the special World Day of Prayer programs at Unity Village. Today's remaining events include the 11 a.m. Silent Unity Prayer Service facilitated by Ministerial and Religious Studies students from Unity Institute® and Seminary, the Tower Blessing Ceremony at 4 p.m. to kick off the Tower restoration project and at 7 p.m., Rev. Michael Moran returns to host “Lights of the World,” an evening of multifaith music, dance and celebration in the Activities Center. The event will feature performers from many faith traditions, including Islam, Hinduism, Sufism, American Indian spirituality, Buddhism, Sikhism and Christianity, who will share music and dance representing their spiritual beliefs and traditions. The closing ceremony will begin at approximately 9 p.m. in the Silent Unity Chapel.

If you are unable to attend in person, the 11 a.m. service and the Lights of the Wrold celebration will be live-streamed. Also, many Unity centers and churches are sponsoring World Day of Prayer activities. Click here to find events near you.
