See the sidebar for information about additional new programs. The Prosperous Life—Mondays at 11 a.m. (CT) Hosts Rev. Chris Michaels and Stephanie Pifer-Stone explore prosperity as a way of living and thinking, not just having more money or things. The program focuses on creating a prosperous life that includes joy and happiness, a healthy body and a personal relationship with Spirit. Michaels is a life coach, national speaker and author as well as founder and spiritual director at the Center for Spiritual Living in Kansas City, Missouri, where he has served for 20 years. Pifer-Stone has co-facilitated prosperity classes for several years at the Center. A student of various religions, she states, “We offer listeners clear, timely, down-to-earth support and advice on prosperity as it relates to spirituality.” Spiraling Consciousness—Wednesdays at 11 a.m. (CT) Host Rev. Kelly Isola explores evolution and spirituality with leaders in the fields of conscious evolution, science and religion. Isola and her guests offer listeners practical answers to the questions: “What can I do?” and “How do I live an engaged life?” “Spiral Dynamics is a map for [becoming engaged] and the program uses Integral Theory as a foundation to support the evolution of consciousness,” she says. “We are each an integral piece in awakening our world, following our evolutionary impulse and creating an environmentally sustainable, socially just and spiritually fulfilled human presence on planet Earth.” Creating a Space of Grace—Tuesdays at 10 a.m. (CT) Using simple exercises, questions and answers, and suggested readings, host Jill Angelo helps listeners gain a better understanding of how energy, meditation and intention can create a sacred space—either at home or in the office. Learn how powerful influences in one's physical environment can inspire and inform consciousness. Angelo has been helping people create “spaces of grace” for nearly a decade. “I had gone through a trauma, causing me to take a hard look at the environment I was living in and how it affected my healing,” she says. Her mission now is to encourage others to “get real” with themselves. “I offer a direct, honest approach. I am not looking to give answers by way of recommending a book or website. Each person really does have the answers [within themselves] if they get quiet and listen.” Compassionate Communication—Mondays at 5 p.m. (CT) Designed for anyone who wants to improve their relationships and connections, this program, hosted by Scott Catamas, offers tools and techniques that all listeners can apply to their lives. These simple yet effective tools are nondenominational and cross-cultural. Scott Catamas is a master coach and communicator who travels internationally teaching Compassionate Communication tools based on the Nonviolent Communication (NVC) model developed by Dr. Marshall Rosenberg. “I have been studying, practicing and teaching all ages and a wide variety of populations from educators to prison inmates,” Catamas says. “Everyone can benefit from these tools. They are simple to learn. The challenge is [having] the discipline to use them. I've been told that my way of teaching/coaching is very user-friendly. I believe in making it fun, real and authentic.” View the Unity.FM program schedule. Sign up for the free Unity.FM weekly electronic program guide. |
