World-renowned speaker and author Rev. Dr. Michael Bernard Beckwith and his wife, noted musician Rickie Byars Beckwith will present at the 2010 People's Convention. The Association of Unity Churches International will host the annual convention in June. Always in demand, performances by this husband and wife duo inspire peace and goodwill worldwide.
They will both receive the Light of God Expressing in Unity award, which is presented annually to those people whose lives have exemplified Unity teachings and made significant and lasting contributions to the Unity movement through healing, teaching, speaking, writing, leadership, organization, human relations and/or the arts.
About Michael Bernard Beckwith
Michael Bernard Beckwith is a prominent New Thought speaker, author and teacher. He founded the Agape International Spiritual Center in 1986 to be a movement that would take a stand for love and peace and to be a beneficial presence on the planet. She is the music and arts director of the Agape International Choir—a 200-plus, multiethnic choir, which is world renowned for its signature sectional harmonies, energetic enthusiasm and devotional power.
2010 People's Convention
This year's convention theme is Circles of Divine Love: Bringing It All Together. The convention will take place June 7–11, 2010, in San Diego, Calif., and is designed to support Unity ministers, licensed teachers, ministry boards and key movement leaders. The general public is invited to attend the open sessions.
