Your honesty really touched my heart. I've had what seemed like overwhelming tangles in my life too. Like you, I've reached out for prayer & and the miracles have begun - currently I'm very grateful to have this place to reach out to for prayer support & the Love of God leading me divine will. Remember - "with God all is possible". It's always darkest before the light. With great trials comes great blessings. You are not in Hawaii by mistake. There's something there for you to do & probably better all the way around. Perhaps it's pulling together something for the 55+ work force. I don't know but I do know we can trust our Creator. I've always believed rejection is God's protection. Often the seemingly bad becomes my highest good. However, through the storm I do get scared & reach out to this loving Church - I ask in Jesus name for you to be filled with faith, clarity & security. Amen.

To Unity friends all over the world-I was relocated from Boston almost one year ago recruited into a high level executive job in Hawaii. I brought in substantial new business and had a good six month performance evaluation. On June 19, the CEO called me into his office, and rudely and abruptly let me go, saying he did not not owe me an explanation! My fiscal and reason for coming here worlds have been turned upside down. I am having to apply for unemployment, am having to cope with such sudden loss with no family here or much support other than Unity of Hawaii and another local group I belong to, and I am left with the knowledge that this CEO man is very insecure and controlling and made this decision from emotion rather than true reasoning from his inner wise one. I must move forward and not give into fear of the unknown but each day is challenging at my age as I am 55+ and thought I had job security for 10 years. I have little to fall back on so must land new positive work with people that actually appreciate me and my skills that I have to offer them. Will you all please pray for me, as unexpected losses can happen in what some call Paradise and I am missing my East Coast roots now given I have had my job taken from me. The CEO covered his tracks by lying to everyone about why I left, but some of us know the real story. Thank you for your prayers. Each day is a challenge at this time as I work on moving forward to my next best step in God's plan for me. Ricki

The resurrecting "Prayer for Protection" by James Dillet Freeman. My husband, Richard, received his first copy of this famous and powerful prayer while serving in the Army in 1944. It was given to him by his sergeant from Gen. Payton at Christmas while the Americans were trapped in Bastogne during World War 11. Many years later, having misplaced this prayer, Richard heard it being recited at Unity of Phoenix in 1983. That event brought tears to his eyes as he saw that Unity brough him to the "resurrected" prayer, The Prayer for Protection. God has been present and always will be with everyone, everywhere. We are so blessed.

I meant for my previous post to be in reply to JustaLady, I noticed that it didn't show the reply under her original post. Thanks again to Unity and other prayer request sites that are available out there to help pray when you or a loved one are most in need of gods help.

It's so nice to hear your story since I am in a similar situation with a family member that has cancer. It is such a blessing to have prayer communities and support group like Unity provides. I've shared my prayers here and also posted a prayer request on http://www.graceprayer.org and I can only hope that the power of many people praying will have a similar positive result.

It is so refreshing to find, that you can mention Jesus, or the trinity..I have been to excellent Unity Churches, and unfortunately, I went to one, Unity Church that was dishonest in their dealings with others. They did not teach or practice what they taught. It was a sad situation, and people were hurt by the lies and coverups that went on. It was truly a lesson in forgiveness..people became afraid, to speak their truth. Hopefully things have changed at this particular Church Thankfully not all the Unity Churches are this way. I am now attending a wonderful Unity Church in Houston....

Each and everyone of you are already perfect, problem only lies in thinking you are not, who you are will never be able to be defined, you are limitless love and unlimited to this world, you are beyond all attributes, you are the one who knows you have thoughts, you are the one who knows you have a body, if you where the mind and body you would not be able to perceive them, you can not perceive yourself because you are the perceiver itself. Know this beauty that you alrady are, find ways to be silent to just be present for one moment with no thoughts, feel this beauty within you, there is not one living thing on the earth that is not that! there is one supreme and that supreme is living in all forms of life, birds, animals, bugs, people it is complete and whole it is life itself which is not of this world, love thy neighbor as thyself, it is simple to know that you he she and that are one supreme being, open up to this beauty that already is so very there, through my own opening from a complete surrender it was shown to me that I am that!! everyone in this world says I AM....can anyone not speak without using this word I? there is only one anf you are that perfect spotless loving compassionate beauty, the mind can not understand this because the mind is limited, all your doubts, fears and worries arise from the mind and mind only, it is contaminated with words, definitions and labels, on you and on what is seen, the body can do nothing on it's owm yet the mind seems to control everyone and it is the cause of so much chaos pain and suffering, please tell yourself your not the mind, you are the knower of this mind.. Jesus would teach to look inward, or to renew your mind, this is very hard to fight at times but he overcame this mind and he overcame the world, because he knew he was not of this world, so are you...you are perfect love...
