The presentation of the laws and principles studied in this course, will support participants in developing a practical understanding of Myrtle and Charles theology as heart centered metaphysicians.  It is our expectation that through the development of such practical understanding, participants will be inspired to also become heart centered metaphysicians. We also expect them to develop a “tool kit” for using healing principles in their daily lives and in supporting other people in their own healing process.

There are three major topics in which the teachings will be based. Those three major topics are: 

• The Source of Healing,
• The Consciousness of Healing
• The Practice of Healing

Course Description:

This is the second part of the course entitled Myrtle and Charles Fillmore on Healing and Wholeness.  The whole course is based in the spiritual laws and universal principles that support the expression of health and wholeness in our minds, bodies and affairs. We will be working with Myrtle and Charles Fillmore's interpretation of how Jesus used and demonstrated those spiritual laws and principles in his own life. The course supports participants in developing a practical understanding of Myrtle and Charles theology as heart centered metaphysicians.  It is our expectation that participants will be inspired to become heart centered metaphysicians themselves.  We also expect them to expand their “tool kit” for using healing principles in their daily lives and in supporting other people in their own healing process.
 

• Analyze, interpret and explain the essential elements of Myrtle and Charles Fillmore's theology in developing their spiritual awareness and the Unity Movement.
• Create a practical road map or “tool kit” for their spiritual journey.
• Demonstrate the use of the Fillmore's teachings in developing spiritual understanding by supporting each other and supporting the world consciousness.
• Update their language about the concepts presented in the text books.

Participate in Online Discussions
Several questions will be posted in the discussion forum each week. Students are asked to post a response to discussion questions and to respond to other students' postings as they feel inspired. The number of questions you are required to respond to, will be noted each week in the discussion forum. Those will never exceed two questions. You may answer as many questions (from the learning guide), as you wish for your own growth.

Periodic Online Exams
Final Paper
Choose at least one idea from the book or class and create a way to put it into practice. Practice it for at least 21 days. Write a 300- to 500-word paper based on your experience. In the paper, describe the idea, what happened, what you learned, and how this may affect your life. The due date will be assigned to those students actually taking the course.

Each individual is expected to invest some time in prayer, reflection and journaling. The amount of time invested is certainly up to the individual and will therefore vary from person to person. However, these practices are essential to your understanding and realization of the truths. You will discover that this is your most fulfilling work during the course.

Searching the Web for related information is highly encouraged, and we hope the fruits of your searches will be shared with the rest of the class.

•    Grading:

S (Satisfactory) indicates that all class work is complete and the student has passed the test.
NC (No Credit)
IN (Incomplete) indicates a student's class work
T (Testing) A grade of “T” indicates that all class work is
    complete, but the student has not yet passed the test.
A (Audit) – For individuals on the Spiritual Enrichment track and
    for those that take a course over for review.
W (Withdrawal) - For individuals that have withdrawn from a class.

•    In order to receive credit for this class, participants must complete the requirements already mentioned and also be actively participating in each discussion forum.
