Rev. David Ault, Minister, Author, and Visionary Vocalist
For nearly 30 years David has traveled the world as a New Thought musician, keynote speaker and workshop/retreat facilitator. His focus on remembering the Divine within and reclaiming that connection has empowered hundreds of thousands on their spiritual journey. The union of David's charismatic message and heartfelt singing has elevated him to keynote speaker of choice in many nationwide churches, centers and global organizations.
David founded a Center for Spiritual Living in Mobile, Alabama and served as its senior minister for 4 years before accepting the position as senior minister for Spiritual Living Center of Atlanta, Georgia in the fall of 2010.
Through his stateside non-profit, Khmer Child Foundation, David has established an ongoing fresh water well building facilitation project in the Siem Reap area of Cambodia, as well as created a non-government regulated school that provides free education, medical/hygiene assistance, agricultural and life skills training, all against the odds of poverty and bureaucratic restriction. The school, named Future Khmer Child, currently supports nearly 200 children and young adults all year round.

Faith's a Kauai-born, Emmy-winning Singer, Songwriter & touring Positive Music Artist. With six solo artist releases, her transformational music has been featured on popular TV shows like ER & Scrubs to NBC's Passions with her song “Forever Near,” awarded an Emmy in 2003 for Outstanding Original Song. Based in sunny Long Beach, CA, the impact of her music has been far-reaching! Faith has musically supported best-selling authors and teachers like Marianne Williamson to Michael Beckwith and wowed audiences from the Hollywood Bowl to the Honolulu Symphony, Australia to Japan & across the US at Posipalooza concerts with high-energy performances & hip-shakin' music for all ages & all faiths.
Her heart-opening pop songs have been used in so many empowering ways - as daily affirmations for families to theme songs for organizations & events, as support material for teachers & life coaches to creating pinnacle moments for thousands at conscious conferences & spiritual centers around the world.
Faith will also be receiving the 2012 Grace Note Award for outstanding achievement in New Thought Music and will be featured in concert as well as her workshop.
David Roth
One of Sound Connections most beloved presenters returns in 2012! As a singer, songwriter, recording artist, keynote speaker, workshop leader, and instructor, David has earned top honors at premier songwriter competitions and taken his music, experience, and expertise to a wide variety of venues in this and other countries full-time for more than two decades. David has also taught singing, songwriting, and performance at the Augusta Heritage workshops (WV), Puget Sound Guitar Workshop (WA), Common Ground on the Hill (MD), Rowe Conference Center (MA), Swannanoa Gatherings (NC), Summersongs (NY and CA), Pendle Hill (PA), Lamb's Retreat (MI), the Woods Music and Dance Camp (Ontario), Wisconsin Stringalongs, the National Wellness Institute (WI), and for many other groups and associations around the country. David will be leading his Grain of Salt song critique, songwriting circles, and Songs of Love workshops this year.
Jana Stanfield
The “Queen of Heavy Mental” returns to Sound Connections. Humorist, songwriter, and educator, Jana Stanfield combines laughter, wisdom, and her million-selling songs into an interactive experience that generates fun and positive action. Jana's classes in performance techniques and her inspiring ministry of “Volun-tour-ism” have made her one of our most requested presenters. Jana is also a 2008 Grace Note award recipient for her outstanding contribution to New Thought music through her international speaking career that spreads the message of New Thought to thousands in organizations and corporations around the world.
Emery Stephens
Baritone Emery Stephens is an Assistant Professor of Voice at Wayne State University, where his teaching focuses on applied voice, class voice, and opera workshop. He has a Doctorate of Musical Arts in Voice Performance from the University of Michigan and a Master of Music from Boston University. His teaching experience includes faculty positions at Eastern Michigan University and the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, as well as secondary music education in the Greater Boston area. Emory also serves as music director for Unity of Farmington Hills, MI and has a passion for combining traditional African American and Gospel roots with New Thought worship and theology.
Michael Allen Harrison is known for his piano solo performances and over 50 recordings, his upbeat sound with his band , his work with inspiring vocalist Julianne Johnson, his skills producing and creating music for ballet, theater and film, his love for teaching and perhaps mostly known for his giving spirit. He was honored with a star on the walk of fame in front of the Portland Performing Arts Center for his artistic and community contributions to his beloved city of Portland Oregon.
Michael is the founder and president of The Snowman Foundation which has raised over 2 million dollars for music education supporting school programs, many community centers and has given hundreds of instruments and scholarships to kids who can't afford it. Michael's unique brand of music ranges from movie scores to passionate arrangements for piano, orchestra, ballet, jazz, fusion, Smooth Jazz, Pop, New Age, and Adult Contemporary. His music has been performed all over the world and even went up on the space shuttle DISCOVERY.
