Special Meal Functions
The Marriott Renaissance and your Unity Worldwide Ministries are pleased to offer special meals for your event. Regular and vegetarian entrée preferences are available for you to choose from. Unity Worldwide Ministries strive to make each meal event experience a memorable one for you. However, it is your responsibility to make your selection on the registration form in advance of attending your desired event(s). If no selection is specified you will be served a regular entrée and the hotel will not make any changes at the time of the event unless you agree to pay an additional sur-charge. The following selection of meal event functions is offered during this convention.

This is a time to connect, share cultural experiences and discuss ways our Association may better serve our worldwide movement.

Women Minister's Dinner
Join with other women ministers in the field for a special meal filled with sharing and inspiration. Joyce Fisher Pierce will be our guest speaker. Reverend Joyce Fisher Pierce became the minister of Unity Christ Church of Bon Air in Richmond, Virginia in 2000. Since then the membership has tripled and beginning in 2001 two services have been held on Sunday morning to make room for the growing congregation. Also through her leadership the congregation has raised over $1 million dollars to build a new church to accommodate the increased number of people seeking a deeper spiritual experience. The new church is expected to be completed by the end of 2011 or early 2012.

They will explain what it is, what is being done, how it's working and the dramatic impact this work is having in their spiritual communities!

This luncheon is an opportunity to reconnect for current candidates and graduates of the Field Licensing Program, mentoring ministers, and those ordained by exception. It's time to make new connections, and develop new support systems.
