Spirit's HeArt by Lisa E Rose C.S.E.

In the life of a child, art is an indispensable tool of both self-expression and education. Art, with its childlike sense of play, wonder, beauty and unbridled presence, is a wonderful medium for the voice of spirit. It transcends dogma, language, culture, economics and age and goes right to the heart.

In this experiential workshop, you will be invited to access your inner child as we explore the unique language of the arts and its ability to speak through the various stages of spiritual, emotional and mental development of children. We will take a look at art in the context of the Multiple Intelligences and expand our abilities in our work with children to create a broader, more inclusive container for spiritual expression.

Lisa is the Director of Education at Renaissance Unity in Warren, Michigan where she has been a Truth student for over 25 years.  As a pianist, story teller, creative writer and spiritual dancer, she has a passion for holistic education – incorporating several learning modalities that relate to the “whole being”. She has led international adult workshops and training programs and has taught arts and academics to1st grade through high school in a variety of learning venues.

Lisa is a Certified Spiritual Educator and a Licensed Unity Teacher Candidate. She is currently serving on the Board of Unity on Campus Ministries in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
