James Trapp, the Association of Unity Churches International CEO, started doing weekly prosperity prayers via conference call in mid-October 2009. With so much of the news focusing on the state of the economy, James felt that we needed an antidote. His messages are designed to redirect our attention to the Truth that we believe, that God is good and God is unlimited.

 

According to James, the weekly prayers create a field of agreement in consciousness. As it states in Matthew 18:20, "for where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." When we gather together to touch and agree on a spiritual idea, a spiritual energy is created that assures that what we agree upon is made manifest. It not only benefits those who participate in this prayer time, it also benefits our entire Association.  

 

"I just close my eyes, focus my attention, and pray," says James. "It helps re-direct our attention from the temporal to the eternal principles of Truth so that we no longer see with mere eyesight but with spiritual insight."
