TRIP COSTS AND PAYMENT
What is included in the $2,995 fee?
The $2,995 trip fee covers only these expenses:
-Hotel room rate based on double occupancy. (The supplement for a single room is $545);
-The land portion of your tour;
-Airfare for travel within Egypt (domestic air).
Airfare to and from Egypt is not included in the tour price. This allows you to choose your own airline, airport of origin, payment options, use of airline points, etc. You're welcome to arrange individual and group airfare on your own or through Regent Travel and Tours. (See Airfare, Group Travel and Hotels.)
Is there a different fee for children?
The trip fee for a child under age 12 is 60% of the adult cost (the land and domestic-air portion, $2995). This reduced fee only applies if the child is sharing a room with two adults. If the child is the second person in the room, he or she is considered an adult.
What happens to my non-refundable deposit?
Your non-refundable deposit of $500 is a tax-deductible donation to Unity Institute®. The funds will support the Institute's mission of providing outstanding higher education to develop ministers and other leaders who live spiritual principles and inspire transformation. You'll receive a letter from Unity Institute, which will serve as a receipt for tax purposes.
Beyond my airfare to and from Egypt, what other expenses do I need to consider?
You'll need additional funds to cover:
• Tips:$50-60 per person, in U.S. dollars, for accommodations, tour guides and drivers.
• Any meals/drinks not included in the full-day tours.
• Any transportation other than stipulated in the Itinerary.
• Travel and/or baggage insurance/
• Transportation of heavy baggage in excess of applicable allowance.
• Passport and visa fees, Egypt departure tax, foreign airport taxes and personal extras

Are the prices quoted firm?
No. All tour prices are in U.S. dollars and based on tariffs and rates of currency exchange in effect at the time of the issuing of this FAQ. Prices are also subject to change by local service suppliers. Although such a price change has never happened, Regent Travel and Tours reserves the right to negotiate a potential adjustment with Unity Institute or you. Please note that unused services or features are nonrefundable. You also have a right to cancel your participation. (See Changes and Cancellations)
Is there a point at which my price is guaranteed?
Yes. If you make payment in full, your price is guaranteed. If you choose to pay in installments, the price is guaranteed upon receipt of your second payment.
What form of payment is accepted?
Regent Travel and Tours will accept payment by check or credit card. To pay by credit card, please contact Regent Travel and Tours at 1-888-515-1885 for a credit-card authorization form. You may the send the completed form by fax to Regent Travel and Tours at 727-388-2008.
What if I miss a payment?
If payment is not received by the respective due dates, then your reservation is subject to cancellation and your deposit will be forfeited.
AIRFARE
How do I book airfare to and from Egypt?
Airfare to and from Egypt is not included in the trip fee to allow you to choose your own airline, airport of origin, payment options, use of airline points, etc. Please be sure to inform Regent Travel and Tours of your flight arrangements, so Regent can coordinate your arrival with scheduled transfers to the hotel. If you wish, Regent Travel and Tours can also handle your air reservations.
What about air transportation within Egypt?
Air transportation within Egypt is included in the tour price, and based on round-trip economy class, unless otherwise stated. Regent Travel and Tours endeavors to follow the itineraries precisely; however, if flights are not available at the scheduled time, Regent Travel and Tours reserves the right to modify the air and land arrangements for a smooth tour operation. All airfares are subject to change without notice.
Is there a baggage limit?
For convenience, the suggested baggage allowance is two (2) bags per person, one for check-in and one for carry-on. Should you wish to exceed this allowance, you are responsible for any excess baggage charges.
GROUP TRAVEL
Are group travel rates offered?
Yes. Regent Travel and Tours can arrange discounted group airfare.
Are these prices based on a certain number of participants?
Discounted group airfare for travel within Egypt is based on groups with a minimum of ten (10) people. If the number of participants should fall below ten, the discounted group rate no longer applies. If this happens, you'll have the option of continuing the tour at a higher price or canceling your reservations. Any deposits made up to this point, except for the initial $500 tax-deductible donation to Unity Institute®, will be returned.
HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS
Is there additional cost for a private room (single occupancy)?
Yes. The supplement for a private room is $545.
I'm traveling by myself. Can I be matched up with another single traveler?
Regent Travel and Tours encourages participants to find roommates on their own for ideal compatibility. We do offer assistance in arranging room shares but cannot guarantee that one will be available. Singles who wish to share with another single should request this at the time of booking, and they will be booked as a “single but willing to share if possible.” Close to departure time, we'll work with individuals to find a match, if possible. If a match occurs, the single supplement will be refunded.
What happens if one of the listed hotels is not available?
If a hotel listed in the itinerary is not available, then the same category hotel or better will be substituted.
TRIP CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS
What if I need to change my reservations?
A $50 per person administrative charge applies to any changes you make to your reservations within 60 days of departure that affect destination, departure date, program extension, and/or traveler names. You may also be charged additional fees imposed by airlines, hotels, and so forth.
You'll receive a full refund of all monies paid, except for the initial $500 tax-deductible donation to Unity Institute®, if you decide to cancel as a result of pricing or itinerary changes made by Regent Travel and Tours.
How do I cancel my tour reservation?
Please send all cancellation requests by U.S. mail to Regent Travel and Tours, c/oStephen Levin 6860 Gulfport Blvd., Suite 298 South Pasadena, FL 33707, or by fax to 727-388-2008.
Please contact Regent Travel and Tours at 1-888-515-1885 if you have cancellation questions. However, telephone, e-mail or verbal cancellations will not be accepted.

Can Regent Travel and Tours cancel this trip?
Yes. Regent Travel and Tours reserves the right to cancel the tour prior to departure for any reason, including weather, strikes, acts of God, acts of terrorism, force majeure, acts of government, civil disturbances, war, quarantine, customs regulations, epidemics, criminal activity or any other cause beyond its control. In such case, a full refund of all payments will constitute a full settlement with the participants. Be assured that best efforts will be made to provide participants with a settlement within 30 days of cancellation.
What are the passport and visa requirements for U.S. citizens?
Obtaining a valid passport and visa is the traveler's responsibility. Click for information about passport and visa fees.
All passports must be valid for at least six months after the Egypt departure date. All documents/tickets will be issued under the passport name. Regent Travel and Tours is not responsible if you're denied entrance to a foreign country for any reason, even with a valid passport and visa. In the unlikely event that problems arise, Regent will make every effort to resolve them; however, Regent will not be responsible for refunds of any unused services or reimbursement of any additional expenditures. All international visa fees are non-refundable, regardless of the reason.
HEALTH & TRAVEL INSURANCE
Will my health insurance cover expenses for an illness or injury outside the U.S.?
Since health-insurance plans and coverage vary, please check with your provider for information about foreign travel.
Am I required to have travel and/or baggage insurance?
Travel and/or baggage insurance is highly recommended. You must secure the coverage own your own, at your own risk. However, if you'd like a recommendation, Regent Travel and Tours can suggest a reliable company. Please call Regent at 1-888-515-1885.
Regent Travel and Tours accepts no responsibility for any costs which may occur as result of a participant failing to secure adequate insurance and/or baggage coverage.
MISCELLANEOUS
How do I handle shopping and souvenirs?
We hope that you'll enjoy your shopping experiences. It's important to note that Regent Travel and Tours accepts no responsibility for the value, reliability, quality or authenticity of any goods purchased while on tour, nor for any mailing, freight or shipping arrangements. Any after-sales correspondence must be between the buyer and the merchant.

RESPONSIBILITY OF REGENT TRAVEL AND TOURS
Regent Travel and Tours is a tour operator and acts only as an agent. Regent Travel and Tours neither owns nor operates third-party suppliers and accordingly agrees to seek remedies directly and only with those suppliers responsible for their acts, omission or commission. All travel arrangements included in this trip are made on participants' behalf, and Regent Travel and Tours will make every effort to honor and deliver all stated services and events described in the itinerary.
Regent Travel and Tours and its agents are not responsible for typographical or printing errors or omissions in the tour itinerary, any losses or expenses due to delay or changes of schedule, overbooking of accommodations, default of any third parties, sickness, weather, strikes, acts of God, acts of terrorism, acts of governments, civil disturbances, war, quarantine, customs regulations, epidemics, criminal activity or for any other cause beyond its control. In such cases, best efforts will be made to seek redress for expenses with suppliers for reimbursement to participants.
Regent Travel and Tours reserves the right to decline any person as a tour participant should the person's health, mental condition, physical infirmity or general deportment impede the operation of the tour or the rights, welfare or enjoyment of other tour participants.
Regent Travel and Tours reserves the right to substitute hotels, and alter the itinerary, withdraw any tour, and make any desirable alteration for the convenience of the operation of tours.
